In Summary
It is our intention and hope that children who spend time in Oasis Organic 
School will develop an awareness of their own unique gifts and value or self worth. We hope they will gain confidence in making choices that will lead to their own and others’ happiness and well being, realizing the interdependence of us all. We hope school will help give each child a ‘tool kit’ for life’s journey: its challenges, joys, discoveries and transforming experiences. The child will not only be provided with an environment designed for this nurturing, but will be guided along the way, given much opportunity for practice and living experiences so that he will be able to continue caring for himself throughout life.
The Results
What we have seen over the years of operating Oasis schools is that children get used to this life. A nurturing environment feels good.

- You get used to people caring about you, your ideas, concerns and accomplishments.

- You get used to people you trust helping you resolve problems so that the harmony is restored.
- You get used to friendships with all ages and all kinds of people.
- You get used to discussing problems and finding solutions.
- You know how much you love certain things; whether it is playing an instrument, gardening, doing math problems, reading, writing your own stories, building things, organizing events, etc……
- You get used to enjoying learning.

- You get used to feeling happy and joyful and safe to be yourself.
- That is our measure of success.
