How to Make Paleo Banana Bread | Healthy Recipes | Kroger


This banana bread is a nice dessert or breakfast treat. You can intensify the flavor by adding more ripe bananas!

Paleo Banana Bread

Serves: 8
1¼ cups almond meal
2 tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. baking soda
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
½ tsp. vanilla extract
2 large eggs
3 large ripe bananas, peeled and mashed
¼ cup flaxseed flour
½ cup chopped walnuts
½ cup unsweetened coconut flakes

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a loaf pan with cooking spray.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine almond meal, baking powder, baking soda, applesauce, cinnamon, and vanilla.
Step 3
Add eggs, banana, and flaxseed flour. Mix well. Add walnuts and coconut flakes and fold them into the batter.
Step 4
Bake for 45 minutes. Cool in pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
